Putting Pleasure on the Plate

As a professional chef for the last three years, I’ve come to understand one simple truth:

How we consume anything is how we consume everything.

When we come into right relationship with our food, it transforms how we relate to our bodies, the Earth, and each other. That’s why I’ve dedicated these years to creating nourishing, life-affirming meals for those on wellness journeys — meals that stoke the life force and support deeper healing.

Whether I’m catering intimate retreats, consulting on culinary programs, or styling vibrant, elemental spreads for creative shoots — my work is rooted in the belief that food is more than fuel. It’s a medium for reconnection, remembrance, and return.

  • Close-up of a sunflower, a yellow zucchini, a yellow tomato, and a knobby, cream-colored gourd.

  • Fresh heirloom tomatoes, yellow bell peppers, and carrots on a wooden surface with flowers and green leaves.

About Me

It all began in my mom’s kitchen — a place of connection, joy, family, and the ultimate stop to refuel for the next adventure. Even as a child, I noticed how much of our food came wrapped in plastic, filled with ingredients I couldn’t pronounce. That curiosity became a calling: to return food to its roots.

Today, I’m on a mission to put pleasure back on the plate — by offering deeply nourishing meals, creative food experiences, and educational support for those on the journey of coming home to themselves.

After studying Environmental Science and Geology at UNC Chapel Hill, I made my way west to Northern California — the land of redwoods, wild rivers, and the world’s best co-ops — where I worked as a forester and deepened my relationship with the Earth. I spent years immersed in permaculture design, cultivating herbal gardens, working with Traditional Chinese Medicine, and connecting to the regenerative intelligence of food systems.

As I witnessed the overconsumption of overly processed foods and the disconnection it bred, a question took root in me:

What if our relationship with food mirrored our relationship with love itself?

Since then, my work has spanned from catering retreats and wellness experiences to developing full-scale culinary programs for retreat centers — weaving in sourcing systems, menu design, and SOPs that support health, beauty, and efficiency in the kitchen. I’ve also worked behind the scenes on creative shoots, styling food and telling visual stories that celebrate the sensuality and seasonality of farm-to-table living.

Whether I’m plating a dish, planning a menu, or curating a visual narrative, I believe food is an invitation — to remember, to indulge, and to nourish the body, mind, and soul.

The People Have Decided

Jenna is an exceptional person to work with. I have had the pleasure of hiring her for my women’s retreats for consecutive years in a row. She is creative, dependable, and an excellent chef, along with her presentation and ability to hold space in a way that is engaging fun and gets the tasks done. The food served is a big aspect of the quality and what people remember, and Jenna’s service is just that, memorable.

I highly recommend her for events, retreats, and workshops.

- Simone Farschi, Founder of The Pleasure Plus, Somatic Sexologist Channing Lee, Retreat Host

“Jenna brought so much more than just food to our weekend event—she brought the zest that grounded and expanded the group. Every meal was delicious and nourishing. She moved through the space with such grace, tuning into our needs without ever needing to ask. She provided energy that was both decadent and deeply connective all at once. We can’t imagine doing another retreat without her.”

Jessica B., Founder of The House of Fates, Retreat Host

“Jenna’s meals were a highlight of the retreat—each dish felt like it was made just for us. You could taste the care, the intention, the wild beauty of the ingredients. I’ve never felt so nourished, not just in my body but in my spirit.”
